Has any one used a Twist-n-crimp. http://www.twist-n-crimp.com/ I thought this might be fun to have to put IH ender rolls on Ebay. Real story it might be a nice way to store solid date/mint rolls. So does this thing work? Also does it work on cent rolls?

It's not very expensive. Might be a good way to get rid of your common wheats. Throw in a dime or indian head once in a while too. The people go crazy for those.

I have and think its the best thing I have bought. It's not a 100% true "machine" crimp but its pretty damn close. The only thing I can tell you is if you recycle wrappers from the bank or that were already used it will not work out that well. I can vouch for the crimpers as well. And using the nf string rolls is a great tip. I found this out by chance. I had been using thinner paper wrappers and the thicker ones from nf string are a difference maker. Don't even try using the flattened wrappers that don't have one end pre-crimped.

Does the twist n crimper only work on quarter rolls?

I found Twist-n-crimp when buying penny tubes at nf string. 3$ plus 4 something S&H there.
I use it to crimp my coppers. Being lazy I modified it to use with a drill. I can crimp a box of
filled tubes in about 10 minutes. I lode tubes with a Klopp counter. Don't know how many tubes
I crimped before I realized it wasn't working right. Discovered the the crimping bars that roll
the paper down were worn. Replaced the bars with SS pins and have done thousands since.

Yes, there is a crimper for each size, but the crimpers are two sided so it's only two plastic pieces.

Don't have a pic handy but I got mine a few years ago when I was rolling coppers.
2 pieces, reversible so they cover penny, nickel, dime, quarter.
they make nice ends, but to repeat everyone, only the rolls with one end sealed already.
takes about 5 seconds per roll.

This is what the twist N crimp looks like the top 2 are NF String rolls and the bottom 2 are coin-tainer rolls.

We got a Twist N Crimp today from String and it works great for cents. We did some of our free Canadian coin and found that the Canadian dime is shorter than the US one so if we cut the roll down it works great. Just need the date stamp that is on order and we will have some nice solid date mint rolls see http://www.realcent.org/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=16860&hilit=+twist. We got a 1000 cent rolls to fill. Plus an assortment pack of rolls

I know that this is an old post, but I wanted to let people know that you can drill a hole through the middle and insert a flat bolt and nut on the other side. I have done this will a long bolt and then tightened it all together, put it in my cordless drill and power crimped all my rolls. One little pull of the drill trigger and the roll is completely crimped. I twisted these things till my wrists hurt and then got to thinking about a smarter way. Now I roll all my pennies, line them all up and power drill/crimp them standing up. Just my simple solution to get a more professional look without hand cramps, lol.

FYI the pre crimped roll do not work that great for Canadian coin as they do not stack up the same as US coins. Also the older Canadian cent almost do not fit in the rolls and the newer steel set make a short stack.

I've decided they are nice, but most of my tubes roll up looking like Henry's last 2 rolls in the picture above. So they wrap sort-of, and it definitely doesn't look machine wrapped to the trained eye. Still happy with the purchase.
