Picked up 20 boxes on Monday. 5 of those boxes were 2012's. Personally I would rather have coppers instead of brand new zincs. Thinking about selling them all on Feebay.

2 weeks ago my husband went to the bank for me to pick up $300.in boxed cents, and $200 (8 boxes of them) were new sealed 2012 D's... Has anyone here had any luck selling them on the bay yet?? I could only find sells 2011's so far when I searched a couple of weeks ago in completed listings....
Sell quick my friend, I sold 2011s last year for the first 2 or 3 weeks out and made 3 times the money on each box before the market got flooded. Move fast, move now!
Me, I'm stuck in a holding pattern pending a move into a new location so every box I moved into the old space has to be moved into the new space. These things are gettng heavy!
Searched 2 boxes of pennies last night and this afternoon. I finally see that the 2012's have arrived! Sad to say at least 50 percent of these boxes were 2012's. Not copper, but they sure look shiny! I'll hang onto them for now...
I did find about 4 wheats and a couple canadians in the mix. My copper finds were probably around 10-15 percent. Hey, at least I added to the stash, right? I still have a box of nickels to sort through this weekend. What will I find???
Well, the first of two boxex had all of three 2012, it was still a funner box with 20 wheats, and 60 canadians, way more of those than usual, so I was pretty happy overall with such a nice mix, the next box had 15-20 dollars worth of 2012 Philly's.
I've gotten a few boxes that are about 75% 2012s. This is annoying because if they were solid 2012, I might be able to sell them for a bit more than face. As it is I have to weigh the rolls and sell the light ones back unopened. Similar things have happened around this time for the last two years.
Time for the U.S. mint to stop making the 2012's just like they did in Canada. All those rolls we're finding will instantly become valuable collectables worth several bucks each.
I have too many of these damn things. I cant even get old pennies right now, I am completely flooded in 2012's. If they were all paper rolls, I would flip them on ebay, but even plastic rolls are 2012's now. I learned the hard way that nobody wants the plastic rolls on ebay. I just paid somebody to take 2 boxes off of my hands.
Still have not seen a 2012 penny in circulation! I buy bags from the bank to search. I usually get my first new coins from the local Wal Mart, but I have been checking every week or so and still no luck on any 2012 coins.
Located in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. Anyone else in the Minnesota area been seeing 2012 coins?
