Darn, I bet the percentage of copper is high on that hoard.
If they give you lined paper, write the other way....

Refreshing to see that his Credit Union had the right attitude about it.
Those boobs at Bank of America probably would've called Homeland Security and the IRS on the poor guy.

Uh oh, I'm wanting to get an account at BoM to unload my zinc. What's the limit on bags where they start frowning? I'm hoping to unload $200 a week at 5 diff branches.

I don't have any problems with BoA if that's BoM you talking about. I've dumped 6 bags at 3 locations this week. Easy and fast if you get the bags a head of time and fill out all your slips and bags ahead of time. Walk in and walk out in about 2 minutes. Bank of America right?

I also wonder how much silver and how many errors/key dates, etc are in there. ...sigh, oh what fun that would've been to sort through...

The good news is those coins are now back in the system. Someone now has a chance to buy a box of pennies and come home and find a higher percentage of copper! Or get a great box of dimes with some possible silver in there. I hate not getting first dibs on a sack of coins when I see someone turn in a load at the bank but at least I know they will come back around soon enough.

I thought I spotted HCBTT over the weekend. There was a uhaul trailer hanging low with a "I break for CU" headed west on I-68. Pure coincidence that report Friday all that changed being dumped...
