Wow, we've gone out twice, once to a park and once to a beach, and still have under $1. Good job everyone!

Baggerman, I believe the ring from the 1st is the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It's been a long time since I saw one though... Nice find!

Found 8 pennies and a chuck e cheese token today in my driveway. Also an old crushed Budweiser can about 8" deep.

Actually I thought it was an Irish Claddagh ring.

My buddy Floyd and I hit a few more schools today. I found lots of clad and some nice bling! 8-)

29 quarters
37 dimes
24 nickels
24 pennies
$12.39 total
plus some trinkets, a "Citizenship award" and 2 silver rings.
I thought it was cool that I found the "DAD" ring on fathers day.

Got out for an hour last night.
5 clad quarters (including the mangled one)
7 clad dimes
8 copper pennies (including one wheat)
8 zinc pennies
1 mercury dime.
The mangled quarter is one of the worst I have seen in a long time.

I hit the Michigan City Beach on the southern end of Lake Michigan after a HOT weekend. My bad foot just couldn't make it in the loose sand. Ended up with a couple of bucks. Had to quit WAY too early! :x

Yea I can only do 1-2 hours in a day and then the back is trashed for the rest of the day. The place I found the mercury dime I KNOW there is more silver but I just had to quit and come home. This getting old thing really sucks LOL.

Ordered an AT Pro last week,as a back up to my beach hunter ID. Was hoping to have it by the fourth of July. Now Kellyco says its back ordered and I am a little pissed off. They said it would be shipping this monday when I ordered it. I guess it's like Forest Gump says IT Happens  Ten K shepple on my beach here for the fourth of July, so the fifth is always an early start for me, but this year I don't get off work until 7am. Nothing seem to be working out.

What type of metal detector do most of you use? I think it would be really fun and also a way to get out and get a lil excercise...
