Thanks for sharing.
I just purchased my oldest grandson (10 years old) his first $25.00 unsorted penny box today at the bank.
This is a great story to email to him. :)

One has to wonder how much more money she could've reaped if she allowed one of us with a ryedale to do the sorting and paid her a fair melt value for the copper.

Cool story. If you are going to pay for college, ya gotta start early and stick with it.
When I die, I want to go like Grandpa did. He died in his sleep..... Not screaming and hollering like all the passengers in his car.

She saved .92 cents a day..... or almost a dollar a day.... or 30 dollars a month..... or 1 oz. of silver a month..... That's what I'm going to use to finance my kids college, and hopefully with some scholarships they can get out just owing a little, at least in comparison to the norm

Will he sort it, keep it, or spent it?

He has already sorted it,,, got 25% coppers and 9 wheats, took the others back to the bank and added enough of his own money to purchase another $25. box to sort... I am so proud of him!!! :D
