Found Silver in a penny roll

As I was loading the rydale, I noticed a foreign coin that looked almost like a dime. When I examined it closer, it turns out to be a silver 1920 Mexico centavos, it .720 silver, with about 2.16CAD value, but a higher numis value, if you go by eBay prices.

was it dirty? I mean did it sorta look like a penny, or did someone just mess up!!

In both bags and rolls I find lots of things that do not belong. Many people do not think like us regarding coins and simply throw everything into a jar and take it to the bank whenever they need a few bucks. I have found coins from over 80 countries including a few silver coins in with cents with similar results for nicks and less for everything else.
