Amazing...well for me. Wild Indian

Postby goodcents » Mon Jul 16, 2012 2:53 pm

Ok,
So after years of going dormant and not sorting pennies I called up Andy a few months ago and bought one of his Blue Apprentices. Just today did I find the time to go through two penny boxes I bought from the local bank.

I told them I'd taken any customer wrapped they had and the rest in the condom type rolls.

I had about 20 bucks in CWR's and 30 in plastic wrapped.

Ran them through this afternoon and in the zinc pile smiling at me was a really nice 1907 Indian head.

I sorted about 1000 bucks my last run and found 2.

The best part was I was showing my friend who is doing this 50/50 with me how it all worked today and explained how rare a find like this is. I told him anytime we can get customer wrapped the chances are usually better for wheats and older finds.

I'm glad to be back sorting. I did this to help with my Candian hoard. So far so good!
I'll post picture tonight. This expensive phone with "8 mexapixel" cam won't even focus....

You know recently I lost a Indian head from 1907 while eating at a Mc Donalds in PawPaw

You wouldnt happen to have seen it would you?
