Last 2 weeks, a combined 6 loose halves from 2 banks (one place twice) = zero silver.

On the dimes front, better (but not much!) luck:
Out of a $500 bag of loose dimes -
1 - 1956 dime
8 - 2009's

that's it. Oh, on the interesting (OK, negative) side, offically got snookered - found 1 cent that was grinded down to the size of a dime in my bag of loose dimes. I heard about these and saw others pics - now I have my own. Think I might keep it - a curiosity that cost me 9 cents. Plus I can always throw it back in the dump bag if I want my 9 (or 10 actually) cents back.

The past 4 months silver has been awful slim here in Bamaland - I really haven't had a decent month since February. At times I thought about slowing down the half search or even taking a break altogether for a while. The biggest reason I haven't is that I at least wanted to hit my 1000th box. I did 200 boxes in 2010, 500 in 2011 and was nearing my 300th this year. I figured I would hit that and then decide what to do. Since my 299th and 300th for the year turned out to be the best boxes I've had in quite a while I guess I'll keep plugging.
