Here is an interesting article on copper. Copper is 100% recyclable and there is no difference between recycled copper and new copper.

Definitely more expensive than spot price, totally not worth buying 1 oz. rounds, because they are AVDP oz. not Troy oz. (16 to the pound not 12). However, do any of you think that there is a good stock in buying 1 Kilo bars? ( better price point and that is always 32.15 troy oz.)

They are between $13.50 - $15 on provident.

I don't see copper getting to the price of silver, due to how crazy that would drive markets, but I do see that in 20 years copper could be considerably higher than it is now, and definitely outrun inflation.

Copper is far more plentiful than silver. It will never approach the price of silver. Copper is still a good investment (IMHO) IF you can acquire it for the right price. That price for me is scrapping and/or sorting brass one cent pieces (pennies).
