I received gobs of free stuff when I opened an account at TD Bank. Hand sanitizer, a keyring, sunglass clip, pen, stress ball, I think there was even lip balm in the package. PM me with your address if Franklin would like some TD Bank souvenirs, or goodies from other New England banks.

Got some free 2013 planners, donuts, popcorn from a bank last week. Some banks put out coffee and/or cookies, and PNC has the Keurig coffee machines. One branch has home baked cookies but they usually run out before the afternoon. TD always has dog biscuits and other dog-related stuff. And of course, every bank has lollipops.

Candy and Suckers. My 3 and 6 year old ask me if I am going to a bank every time they get into my car. Maybe that is why I've liked banks since I was a little child. Positive reinforcement from childhood :)

Franklin brightens my day
Soooo... Is it just me or is a chart of US debt looking dangerously parabolic?

The teller on Franklins right is from Bulgaria and Franklin was always asking her if she eats with her hands we could not get a good answer out of him why he would ask. Then one night my wife asked Franklin if he was a Barbarian "he was eating with his hands" and he said no but he knew a teller that is one.

I had a teller at a WF branch office that would bring me out a cup of coffee when I was going through the drive through window. I had half a mind to ask if she was single. Someone that went through such trouble for a stranger would be a keeper.

My bank gives free smiles(or are those snickeres). Free credit card applications. Free coin wrappers (so ill take my coin dumps elsewhere). I get free commercial cash zipper bags, free plastic coin lock bags, free new coin boxes. Free calendars, pens (great for work), candy, coffee. Free carry out on coins(actually have a cart they use). Free coffee cup to drink their coffee while I use their coin dumping machine.
Come to think of it I think I like this bank.
p.s. tell Franklin they too have very cute tellers.

I'm too busy bringing them chocolate to notice the freebies...but my main dump bank does brew some pretty good coffee.

I was shell-shocked to see my bank giving out free cheese cracker and peanut butter crackers at the bank with coffee.

But whenever I am in bank I am never in mood to drink coffee or eat crackers

Mine usually offers chocolate. I always intend to take the dark chocolate, but end up taking milk chocolate or carmel by mistake. Oh well, they're all good.

BofA always has lollipops and my 18 moth old gets excited when she sees the branch (we vist infrequently too)
BMO was offering $25 for starting a new kid account, plus a plastic bear bank. Did that deal X2 but it's over now.

Free paper sleves to roll my returns in. Free empty $25 penny boxes when they have them. I love how inexpensive this hobby is!

A couple of banks have given me canvas bags when I have picked up a large number of customer wrapped rolls. The bags are great. I use them all the time.

Pens at my credit union. Cookies and coffee at the bank I use. Yesterday they had peanuts and other snacks and the tellers were wearing football jerseys. They had some sort of game throwing a nerf football through a hoop to win some kind of prize too. I did not find out what you could win though.
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered....The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."

We have gotten free pens at many banks, money pouches, lots of stuff at TD Bank (hand sanitizer, tissues, dog biscuits, water bowls, Black Friday shopping bags), wrappers for halves, cookies, sandwiches, calendars, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, popcorn (one bank has a popcorn machine), suckers, steel coins from reject magnets, CoinLok bags, cup holders, notepads, account signup bonuses, a hat, and more stuff I can't remember. Some banks don't put out anything and others have freebies every week.
