I came across this and couldn't help but think of RC.

$37.50 for a couple of lower grade Peace dollars seems a little too much to me.

just goofing on the questionable use of the hyphen (not to mention there is no Morgan present). There is no deal here.

seller probably did that so anyone that searches for Morgan dollars will bring up his Peace dollars for them to see too.

"A forward slash or an ampersand between" Morgan" and "Peace" Dollar would be gramatically correct ways to condense the two different coins without using the word "Dollar" after each type. Of course, listing a Morgan Dollar to attract someone who wants to purchase a Morgan dollar and then offering only Peace Dollars kinda speaks for itself... Are we really having this conversation? My life is calling, I gotta move on.

The online prices for Peace & Morgans are ridiculous. The most I've paid lately is $28 and those were VF grade at the LCS.

I hear you. It seems like a great deal of silver sells higher on Ebay. I hunt for bargains, but usually don't find many.

thas funny........did you check out his other offerings? i'm almost tempted to bid on the Morgan with that hole....so i can make a cool necklace for my son's mother, or my boy....but i dont think so.

why are people SO LAZY when it comes to trading? i never understand that! Trading MUST be precise! i'm serious, trading is one of the oldest business's in history and it feels like some people just dont take it seriously. I thank God my first boss, at 21, just out of the Navy i was....he was a very straight up, taciturn man, who dealt in frozen and fresh pork, large lots....and he instilled in me, the discipline to realize, we're working in an enviroment where the profit margin is measured in pennies......albeit pennies on a quarter of a million pounds of warehoused primal cuts of pork, hams, bellies, butts, shoulders, etc.

and he would use futures to hedge warehouse holdings, as well as our ONLY clients, who traded cash meat as well, but also maintained high net individual speculative accounts. All these older men were mentors, who taught me how to spread trade....ie.....short selling bellies against live hogs, or vice versa...then i progressed to grains, wheat and corn, as well as crude oil.

These men, my first (and only) boss, and his colleagues were all good men, they were straight up. there was no financial tomfoolery going on, which i always appreciated, as a youth, being raised on the trading floor, where playing fast and loose with the rules, was the norm.

May i boast a second, share this with you men, many of you fathers? My son, for the second time, told his mother, that the most moral and ethical man he knows, is me, his father. This was an unsolicited statement he made, that was told to me, by that dear woman, and really rouched my heart, greatly. Though i am, like us all, flawed in some of my ways, i can be a light to my dear boy, an example in the midst of all the current dishonesty we see today, in the financial world, political world....the world.

THAT, i am proud of, and pray that this young man, embraces honor and honesty, in all dealings. Thanks for letting me share that, and forgive me any undue boasting. Have a good day guys, neil

It's a testament to both of you; that he believes you are, and that he himself recognizes ethics as a trait to admire.

As for dollars, the least pricey I could find today were $35 for culls. And these were from a dealer who sold me decent 90% for 20x

I'll pay $27/28, but not $11 over melt
