Whats the best Coin roller for Pennies?

Postby ilovesilver97 » Sat Jan 26, 2013 7:47 pm

Im looking for a good coin roller for my pennies. I sort maybe $100 per week now with my Ryedale. I hardly have the time to sort em now much less roll em when im done.

Whats the best way to roll em when im done?

If you are rolling them to go back to the bank it is time to find a bank are credit union that has free coin counting. If it is to store for the copper a oregon bucket should be fine. If they are copper to sell they are sold buy weight. Just my 2 cents worth.

Glory WS-21. Table top model. 12 rolls per minute. A little over $7100.
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more

Yep.. but you have to sort a lot of pennies to justify a real rolling machine.. or 3.

I forgot to specify, I am wanting to roll/count them to sale. I wanna take the profits from sorting copper pennies to buy silver with. Are there people here or? that will buy my coppers when I get them sorted?

I use a ryedale sorter and Im doing $100-$150 per week

How do i sale them? by the roll,Box,bag?

Even an ok used coin wrapper will cost you $3,000. You then have to pay for paper and maintenance, which is very expensive. With $100/week I would just hand roll them if you have to.

Skip a step and sort half dollars for the silver. Most people are selling $100 FV for =/- for $160 in a flat rate box = 68 pounds no need to roll. You might try a craiglist ad to sell them near by. By if you not selling a large about are holding off for copper to go up. I would sort half dollars and save a step.
