2010 Uncirculated ASE

I did the deal from universal for the 2 ASE's for $23. The mint website says the 2010 uncirculated will not be produced. Did the mint make some early in 2010 and then stop or I am not understanding? I am waiting to order the 2011's on Jan 3rd or will those not be produced either?

ASES come in three flavors as I understand:

Proof
Uncirculated
Bullion grade

Uncircs were not produced in 2010. Universal sent you bullion ASES

What is the difference in Uncirculated and Bullion ASES? Very little far as I can tell accept how they get to the public/end buyer.

A followup dumb question, so anyone selling 2010 ASE's as uncircs is really selling bullion grade. Still a nice coin, but not officially uncirculated.

Not a dumb question at all. The Bullion grade ASES are in fact uncirculated by definition.....But here is a better way to explain "what’s up" with the system:

Bullion ASES are sold by the mint ONLY to a select group of large retailers that then distributes them to the public.

Uncirculated ASES are sold by the mint DIRECTLY to the public.

Proof ASES are also sold DIRECTLY to the public by the mint.

Not sure if there is much if any of a physical distinction between a Bullion ASE and an Uncirculated ASE. Maybe the Unc ASE has more of a matt finish? Anyone else care to chime in on this?

There it is...thanks aloneibreak :)

Look for the "W" on a non-proof ASE and it is an UNC production.
