Not to snobby, but most of this is stuff I've long thought of. It's making me antsy because I want the guy to summarize. I get the feeling he thinks a lot of himself.

However, good for anyone that can stand to listen to the whole thing but a) I believe he's missed a few things (personal opinion - I have an active creator world-view - this guy seems to be agnostic at best), b) it's so long and dry that most people that need to listen to this will never listen to it. A 10 minute summary is needed that builds into a longer series.

I am finding it personally worthwhile... your own mileage may vary

I had never really listened to George Carlin before... the guy was right on (at least on the bits inserted here) 90 minutes in.

Continuing to listen to it just because I happen to be able to do it in the background today (unusual for me). I continue to think he thinks too much of himself.

He goes off on weird tangents for minutes at a time. (For example, the HTV-2 is simply a DARPA research vehicle for studying hypersonic flight. It's NOT a new "bomb" - ICBMs can already do what he objects to which is killing millions anywhere in the world in minutes. What part does this play in anything he's talking about? It's central to nothing.)

Yeah - I'm blowing off the rest of it at 97 minutes. He's all about "logic", but has a logic issue himself. Thanks for the link though - it was interesting for a bit.

well, for those without extensive exposure to similar presentations (I'm counting myself here :lol:

) I am willing to suspend any character evaluations and listen to the message, not the speaker. I do give kudos for the effort he extended to present such a video for viewers like myself. I like alternative media. Haven't watched network tv in forty years (at least not slavishly) 8-)
