Liberty is Rising - Truth in Media Project

Ben Swann gained recognition among Ron Paul supporters and other liberty proponents for his "Reality Check" segments on an Ohio Fox affiliate during the 2012 primary campaign and beyond. He is now trying to get an independent project off the ground to produce at least 100 high-quality segments for distribution through Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, his own website, independent blogs, and any television media willing to air them. There are lots of good informative videos on YouTube already, but they generally lack the production quality necessary for bigger media outlets to even consider airing them. Those who are already liberty minded tend to frequent YouTube and other alternative media, but there is no denying that the majority of the country still gets its "news" from talking heads on the boob tube. The goal of this project is largely to take true unbiased stories and the liberty message to them, since they are unlikely to seek it out on their own.



Ben doesn't want big corporate backing that might try to steer the stories. He wants it to be a grassroots project with crowdsourced funding. Check it out on Kickstarter, maybe consider contributing if you think it's a worthwhile project. Heck a $25 donation is probably what, half of one month's cable bill?
