Who's Playing Paper this time around?

Postby beauanderos » Thu Jun 20, 2013 8:45 am

Although I pulled all my old IRA funds and 401k's (fear of Cyprussification) I still trickle in 6% for the 50% company match. It builds up. So I've been watching USLV since it was above $11 with the intention of pulling the trigger at $7.

Cooler heads prevailed and I changed my limit buy to $5 a share yesterday. Woohoo, I didn't just "overpay" by nearly a dollar a share on what little play money I have left  Now if we see another plunge, should trigger my buy, unless I become even more of a tightwad

Hmmm... $4? $3? Any educated guesses what $15 silver would equate to in share prices? :?

My sincere sympathy to any who are riding paper plays down and hoping for a rebound. Days like this frickin hurt if you're still in. Our physical stacks will endure, and times like these are great for adding to them.

I am getting very close to pulling a very large (for me anyway) trigger.

Under $20 (silver spot) looks very close to the bottom. And with very healthy options thanks to plummeting you can get a good safety net. Although my $29 buy price ones are streching that safety net to the breaking point, I'm sure. I may not even be able to write options on that lot when my current options expire.

Finished at $5.84. Glad I'm sidelined right now ;)

I didn't end up going in. It just seemed to have a little more to go.

Tomorrow if we have another down day, I'm pretty sure I'm diving in.

I'll play later. It was a washout today. These type of days tend to string together sometimes.
This space for rent. :)

I just sold a couple of puts on GDX. July. Maybe I will get GDX put to me at a lower price or maybe they will expire and I will keep the premium. A gamble? Perhaps, but it's time to take a chance. Good luck to all.

Keep stacking

I was going to buy USLV today but didn't. I need to average down my last two buys.
