Is anyone else here collecting the Canadian Tire 1 Dollar 'coins'?

I have only managed to get 1 out of the 4 types dated 2010 so far.

Do you know if there will be any Canadian Tire 'coins' coming out in 2011 at all?

It might be worth something someday. Canadian Tire is thinking about stopping its ''customer loyalty program''.

There is a collector club for these, at least the paper version.

I don't think there will be others coins, it was a limited series of 4 coins.

And they are made of nickels plated steel

I have been informed that Canadian Tire is not going to be putting out any more 'coins'.

It would be a shame if the notes stopped being put out,as they are pretty collectable,especially for the older issues & the commemorative ones (which could end up becoming scarce).
