$20 in dimes from a small town bank in NE Iowa (Helping my son move) - zip

$1.00 in halves at that same small Iowa bank - didn't even need to buy them - the teller let me take a peak at them first - zip.

Still have $10 in nickels from the Iowa bank to go thru....

Went to my dump bank yesterday as I always do. The tellers, who are awesome, were smiling at me, and told me that they had been waiting for me, and that I would be happy!
Was I ever! Handed them 41.25 and received an envelope bulging with coins!
Of the 41.25 in quarters in the envelope:
2 Canadian non-silver
2 Barber, 1916 and 1916-D
5 slick dateless Standing Liberty
156 Washington silver quarters, with about 10 from the thirties.

Wow. Turns out an alert teller was dumping rolls into a bag, heard the silver ring and pulled them all out for me.

Now, as I stated, these tellers are wonderful. We chat every week. They know what I do, and why I dump a grand worth of change every week. I've educated them on what I look for and why I keep all of these different coins and precious metal in general.
I'm still dumbfounded that I got over 2 pounds of silver yesterday for face value, and that they were more than glad to give it to me!
Chocolates and or muffins will be forthcoming!
