I like to delve into a box of nickels from time to time. I'm in the process of rebuilding my nickel stash....

I found my first several 2013's also. I would run across one from time to time when I got pocket change.

I hope to complete my 2009 set in the near future.

Lucky you! The most I've found are a few in a box of nickels. Can't afford to hold on to all the nickels but I do try to keep nickels and pre 1982 pennies in change. Anyone notice how we don't seem to find coins on the ground anymore? I guess all the plastic being used.

I still find plenty of coins on the ground and in vending machines and Coinstar machines. In 2006 I found a $10 bill on the ground while traveling, shortly after finding a $100 bill near a cash register in a retail store. Yes, I stood and waited a few minutes in case some little old lady came back to where she dropped it. But nobody came back.

NOTE: ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- often
substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) and selling short as well.

I found a twoonie yesterday while raking the grass on boulevard in front of my
house. It only became visible in the grass if you were looking from just the right
angle.

Sounds like a neat idea, anything to make it more interesting.
You could be sorting right now.

I've also noticed lately that there aren't nearly as many coins on the ground best I've ever found is $5, three separate times. 2 $5 bills, and one pile of dirty quarters  .
267,500 pennies and 186,000 nickels searched. Hand sorter.
