Nice. Now how long before some enterprising crook figures out a way to steal it? If this were a Mission Impossible plot
they would swipe it and replace it with gold-veneered tungsten core bars. But... nah... too implausible

whats crazy is the walkway is only 7x as long as what is pictured and you have the full 606 bars stated. 30 per square, so only 20 squares. It probably would have been less impressive if they actually showed the whole walkway which is likely much shorter than the food court at this mall.

Not that I'm not impressed. Though highroller is probably right... plated tungsten bars from alibaba.

Step 1: Buy a bunch of gold
Step 2: Put fake bars where they can be stolen
Step 3: Disappear with insurance proceeds and real gold

I can hear Elaine Benes of Seinfeld shouting "Fake, fake, fake!"
Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).

NOTE: ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- often
substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) and selling short as well.

I'm betting that those bars are either fake or just gold plated.....maybe. Why make such a tempting target? Someone out there could find an ingenious way to steal those..... :?

My eyes were first drawn to the pairs of legs--I know they're not fake!

This is very similar to a plot in a recent movie I watched.....only swap gold with Diamonds and you nailed it.

I'm with the others, hard pressed to believe they are even close to real. We probably won't know the truth until someone tries to steal them though. Imagine the poor sap at the pawn counter "Um, Yeah, this is a brick I'd like to sell. I got it from an estate sale...in the bottom of a box of junk..."
"You can go if you want, but all they make are coins there"- Quote from the Philidelphia, PA visitors center desk clerk, after inquiring about going on a tour of the MINT

I'd gladly sell those "real" bars for 10% of spot!
