I would always pick up the tanks if full and use them up, now I can get rid of the old ones that the propane place will not fill up as they are too old and don't have the new safety overfill device in them.

Flame Propane in Prescott will recertify them for a few bucks. They are worth much more that way. Is there a Flame in Tuscon?
You can exchange your tanks without the OPD thing at one of those exchange racks. Again it's worth more that way.
NO yards around here will except or buy any kind of fuel tank no matter how pulverized it is
hobo finds wrote:Thanks, did not know that the exchange places would take the old, no OPD ones. I have and do exchange the ones that are out of date and have the OPD.
