Gasifier Anyone using one

Just wondering if anyone has looked into gasifiers I have done a lot of research on them and they seem very useful in an emergency situation.

What are they?
In the game of Woke, the goal posts can be moved at any moment, the penalties will apply retroactively and claims of fairness will always lose out to the perpetual right to claim offense.... Bret Stephens
The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it. George Orwell.

It's a way of extracting Energy from organic materials. Most common way I have seen is by putting wood chips into a container with a fire around it. You can heat the wood with a wood fire and contain the gasses from the heated wood to run engines. Several videos on YouTube of people using them to run generators even vehicles. Many systems were used to power vehicles and generators during the world war era in Europe. FEMA even has a set of plans out to build one.

I remember seeing a gasifier used in the Discovery show - The Colony Season 2 - Episode "When the Gas Runs Out"

They do get it working.

Gasifier is my wife's nickname
If I have the gift of prophesy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to move mountains but do not have love I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned but do not have love it profits me nothing.

 I'm sorry man I hope the couch is comfy!
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered....The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."

Thogey, so do you spend a lot of money on air fresheners and candles?

Candles?

Sometimes I'm afraid to flip a light switch.

Thogey you better hope your wife doesn't read these forums or has a great sense of humor, otherwise we may lose a RealCent member to a violent crime.
