Prepared steel 680 pounds 220/ ton. Lots off stripped motors and various screws nails and bolts. I kept most of the nuts and washers.

I have very little left. Saw a washer last night but the truck was way too full. A Walgreens is changing shelves. Got a few rejects and some wood.

Yes, we get some of the best prices for steel in the northeast, assuming we go to decent yards in major cities and on the shore. However, this does not compensate for the higher prices we pay for gas, housing, and everything else.

pop can 21lb @ $0.75/lb = $15.75
wire #2 4lb @ $0.66/lb = $2.64
wire #3 5lb @ $0.25/lb = $1.25
o/s clips 55lb @$120/ton = $3.30
total $22.94
Of note, that 75 cents/lb for aluminum cans is the most I have ever got at Gerdau Recyclers even during that run up in 2008-2011
