I wouldn’t create a separate thread for a small find like this.

Instead, you could put it in another existing thread like perhaps the Coinstar thread or maybe even a better existing one.

Now, if the coin had a really obvious error like a double die or being way off center, that might deserve a separate posting, especially with a good quality photo.

Just my own two cents worth…
Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).

NOTE: ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- often
substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) and selling short as well.

Thanks! Didn't know how many were legit errors that I see online. I do know mine has the low 7.

Wanted to share that I got home and found I already had this coin (apologies, mentioned that in the above posts already), but my youngest son didn't. He wanted to know if he could trade another coin for it. I said yep. :)

So my son comes back with a paper list of the S coins he has available for trade. He's 14.

I circle 2 coins on the paper that I need. He goes away. I put the '70-s in a plastic slide holder to get it ready for him. The next day, I get a coin from him, a '40-S. My other choice was a '54-s. I said that's great, thank you. He proceeds to tell me, "yeah after you circled the coins, I went and checked, and the '54-s is actually rarer, so, I'm giving you the '40-s..." :o

I give him the '70-s and he says "oh wow! can I keep the slider thing?" My wife and I both replied, "oh, that's an extra charge".
