The idea that there is no market for pre-33 gold is absurd on it's face. Dude is just putting that out there to facilitate buying it at melt from weak hands who watch his channel.
Apmex, JM, SD...they are getting crazy premium to melt prices and they can't keep the stuff in stock.
The rest of the video was pretty good though.

I agree. Could be. He also says he prefers to buy only slabbed pre-33s.
I never heard of anyone (in recent times) cracking open MS61/62 pre-33 slabs and sending them to a refiner/smelter.
Time is precious, stop wasting it.
