Guy pays Chase CC bill in 650k pennies

thought this was really great - maybe I should pay off my car loan in pennies, good way to get rid of a lot of zincs really fast.

Is this one of our members with a creative way to dump zinc's? (Chuck) Wonder if this presents a buying opportunity for someone out in California? even 20% copper haul would be a bonanza.

That's one way to dump them.
If you are waiting for the "correction" to buy you need to realize that the increasing prices ARE the correction.

I think it's terrible. If the guy paid with pennies from circulation, then counting the coppers, Wheats and Indian Heads, he overpaid by a bunch!

I'm all for doing things like that, but I wonder how much it cost to transport all of them to Chase.

What a great plan!
Order a bunch of direct-shipped Presidential dollars from the mint and get your airline miles of cash back from the credit card and pay it off with zincs you need to dump anyway....GENIOUS!!! 8-)
