That's a good year. Great find...what kind of shape is it in. Has a mintage of under 12 million! :D

It's on OK shape but I am not sure how it would be rated. I am going to try to take a picture to post - it will test my photography skills.

But what I think is incredible is the fact that I found an IH laying in the sand on White Sands Beach in Old Lyme CT about 10 yrs ago. I was always a coin collector and me and the wife were walking the dog one day and I looked down and saw a penny. I just thought it was a penny and picked it up but when it hit my wedding ring it sounded different. It was kind of crusted up but you could read the date. Nothing rare but it is in the pile.

I have to give a great big thanks to all the members here, who have been helping my tribe to grow.

I got my first Indian Head this year today. :D

It has been 83 boxes of pennies since the last one I found on August 2010. This one is a 1908, which looks like it was buried for awhile, dark with encrustation. No letters of "LIBERTY" show. I looked hard, but there was no "S" to be found on the reverse.
