I ordered mine to 10 different households. That way no ones the wiser. Otherwise if you order more than one per household you will get yours cancelled. I'm sure most of u have friends and relatives that can help u out as I did.

Thanks for the info LostCents and Corsair. You are right but I will just hold them for a while as I think the whole financial system is still a house of cards, and even as bullion this is a pretty good bet.
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered....The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."

Yeah, at current spot price, this is a cool set to hang onto...I'm looking forward to mine
and will consider sending it in for grading after I see the condition of the coins in person.

A little off subject here, but interesting:
For those of you watching the daily spot prices, do you think $8-10M of possibly purchased
US mint bullion at spot this weekend can affect the market on Monday?
I don't know anything about that stuff....but it is interesting.

Honestly i hope these go to trading as bullion and not as collectors items. I wish they minted more and premiums were in line with ASEs. I love big coins.

Still almost 3 days left on that auction. I doubt that will be the final price.

Don't worry, there will be 100,000 of each coin available (supposedly) for 2011 for a total of 500,000.
Then, they are planning on continuing this series until 2012.
But, apparently they couldn't even get enough silver together to put out the originally planned 100,000
each for 2010. They put 33,000 sets on the market as bullion and supposedly held 27,000 sets to be
issued in the first quarter of 2011 as 'P' marked collectors editions. As of now, no one knows anything
about the if and when for availability of those sets.
Therefore, all the buzz about these first 33,000 sets is because they are the first of the series and
minted in much lower numbers than anticipated. Perhaps key dates for the future or historically
collectible coins (well...not really coins LOL) with lots of funny (embarrassing) stories behind them....only time will tell.....

If you are talking about these:
http://cgi.ebay.com/2010-America-Beautiful-5-ounce-Silver-5-Piece-Set-/300541036206
then take a closer look, this is not an auction!

This is 'Buy It Now' and the quantity is for 100 sets available.
Check their past listings, they already sold 100 sets this morning.
So, at this time they are up to about 200 sets sold on ebay.
I bet in one more hour, these will be gone and the next hundred will be listed.
Lots of these coins right now for close to spot!

These are being sold by MTB, an authorized purchaser from the US Mint and they are selling them at a higher price than they are technically allowed based on the US Mint's rules. I wonder if they got an exception to sell at a higher price or if they are blatantly disregarding the Mint's policy??

the mint might of allowed them to account for ebay fees? Which if so puts them right around 950 then.... might be the mints way of combatting them being sold for such steep prices? Im sure the mint and these dealers are pissed they arent getting that premium.

Set for $1025 shipped

After Mr. Rebates and eBay Bucks, you're paying just a little above the $949 this guy wants. Good luck flipping these, guys.

Thanks I actually went ahead and ordered a set here as well.

i didnt think of the fact only one per household until i got back to this thread , should I be concerned with two sets ordered from two different suppliers?

No it's ok, or so I have read, to buy 1 per AP. The APs don't share customer lists.

Looks like sellers are making a killing on ebay by breaking up the sets and selling them individually.

Try ordering again. Should still be some avaiable. If you only send $$$ for the new one, the other one, if it even happened will be cancelled.

Well I ordered a set Friday but when I tried to scroll down to the bottom to click the print button my screen froze.

Unfortunately, it froze where you could not see the order #.
