just wait until next year... it wont be a few 1000 people scoring 1-5 sets or whatever... it will be some bigger money folks buying them ALL from these same dealers, and instantly sold for retail.... its supposed to be bullion!!!

anyway... i will trade you a set for 32 ounces.... ;)

Na, the mint is going to sell them off its website, 1 per household or someshit.

Eww, punch punch jab jab.........Hummm don't hate the player hate the game fella! This is by far due to the mint's limited production and poor distribution strategy then any gaming :? . You gotta be quick if you want to beat slick. Anyways the mint never said only one set per household, they said "each" dealer could only sell only one set per household. That's 9-10? sets per household the way I read it, everyone (except at APMEX) has/had the same oppertunity to buy. I'm going to make a guess and say you might not be a copper penny horder with that mentality :) Most on here would jump at a chance to buy silver under spot/ copper Way Way under spot, as long as they could afford it. That's almost like saying hey Hoardy/Highroller/whoever your taking more than your fair share of copper pennies, tisk tisk tisk shame on you!! Now say there was only one set left on the "realcent" bullion shelf!! Ray, Eric, Rode dog and myself already have two, but poor little Mikey can't get one and we are all standing in line. I would most likely step out of the way and let Little Mikey grab a set......then out of nowhere Eric sticks out his foot and trips him up, Ray drops an elbow in the small of his back and Rode dog taunts him while doing the official ATB dance in circles around Little Mikey sprawled out in the middle of the aisle. It's a dog eat dog world out there man and I try my best to pass my knowledge and an occasional good deal along to other members when I can. Good luck to you, and if your alert enough there should be one or two more possible chances to grab a set! Oh and Hi, whoever you are welcome to the forum! Glad you stopped in :D

Humm, I thought I remember somewhere someone saying that they have to sell the 2010's off before they can order/receive shipment of the 2011's. I believe the Collector edition/Mint state coins will be release 1 at a time directly from the mint with some sort of limit but the bullion versions will still be release to various AP's. Someone correct me if I'm mistaken on that one.

There are no codes, if you were selected and log in you proceed to step #2 or 3 whatever it is. Somehow their system automatically recognizes your user ID as one of the chosen ones? You proceed strait through to checkout so no going around the system I'm afraid unless your a hacker I imagine.

I hope the Mint puts the smack down on them for this BS distribution plan.

Oh wow I just got my set in today finally!! Three packages showed up today Dillion Gage Set with two slabbed MS69 Silver eagles, The us mint's first MS HS 5 oz coin and then the Apmex slabbed set. I was very surprised, didn't realize they were going to actually be graded, just thought they were certified Gem BU. Here's what I received from APMEX:

MS68 DMPL- Yosemite
MS68 DMPL- Yellowstone
MS68 DMPL- Mount Hood
MS 69- Grand Canyon
MS 69- Hot Springs

Wow, awesome packaging the best coin overall set I have received yet, just wish they had not held them back from shipping for so long!!

im still waiting for mine, still in the B vault. i read on another forum that there is an A, B or C stamped on the inside of the box and this corrosponds to the grades of the coins you receive

A boxes have bu's and ms68's

B boxes have ms68's

C boxes have a mixture of ms68 and ms69

Humm, I see a C marked on the outside, lower right hand corner, front of the box. Sure wish there was a 69 DMPL in there :)

Unfortunately mine is a "B" and has 1x 68DMPL, 3x 68PL, 1x 68

I was under impression that almost every coin received PL these days. On some of my 68's I can't see anything detracting from the grade...wonder why not 69...also surprised/disappointed to get no 69's after seeing some posts by others. One person on another forum had a set of all 69's including some DMPLs. Figure if they were going to the trouble of grading them that they would at least split up the grades a bit unless they cherry picked the best for their favorite customers...or just kept the best and sent re-purchased lower grade sets when possible...
