Just when I was about to give up on halves hit a sweet box

The last couple of weeks I have went through 8k or more in halves and was getting skunked time after time

I picked up 2 boxes today and one of the boxes had a walker at the top of one of the rolls and I knew I was in for a good box

In that box I found:

1961 Ben
1946 Walker
1937 Walker
1944 Walker
1943 Walker
6 1964 JFKs
10 40% halves

Definitely was due after my dry spell

yeah, a whole roll of keepers, nice find! That one box make up for the $8500 in skunks? I've only searched 3 boxes, found 3 coins. Would u be happy with a one 90%, or two 40% coin average per box? gl man

Went back to the bank to see if they had any more boxes (figured maybe someone might have not picked up their order or maybe they had ordered extra)

They didn't have any more boxes

However, I saw the teller coin tray and saw one single silver half in the tray. Bought it for 50 cents.

Turned out to be a 1964 Kennedy
