This is a new purchase of mine from http://www.legendcoin.com/cgi-bin/inventory/main.pl which is the current "super high end" market maker in coins.

I've wanted to purchase a coin from them for a while just to check that off my list of things to do :) But their inventory was always either too expensive or not fitting my needs. This coin was priced in my wheelhouse and fit perfectly with the type set I'm trying to improve.

It's not the finest known, there are 12 MS69FB's, but it is the finest that has a CAC sticker, so that's kind of a cool thing also!

That is sexy.

I wonder if my wife will let me blow it up to poster/painting size and hang it over the sofa?

Looks like some MD on the throat/lips and "L" and possibly the motto.

My mom had several of those. Back when she had them, she just called them pocket change.

Definite doubling on the left side of the obverse. This one is definitely a winner. Any idea what it's value might be? Guess if I owned it that'd be secondary as I'd never think about selling it.
