Are computer board resistors worth anything?

I have been helping a woman whom recently had to put her husband into a home, clean out some stuff he has been hoarding.
Along with many scrap worthy items,there is a box filled with clear boxes that contain different kinds of circuit board parts,including resistors.

Are these worth anything? If so where can I sell them,and for how much?

Many older electronic parts are worth more as parts than scrap. If you can identify the equipment they're from, manufacturer, or model number(s) you can find out if they have value as replacement parts. Generally, resistors are not worth this effort because most are low-cost and common.

Most types of resistors are not worth much as scrap. Sell them as what you can pass them off as - low grade circuit boards or light iron.

Yes, but good luck gathering enough of them to sell to a dealer, never mind enough to process - or even finding a company that will process them.
