OK, since I'm new.. I seem to have a need for more seasoned people to explain to me the acronym's used. I have waited about a month but keep coming across ones I just can't figure out. like BTT... Don't laugh but at one time I though CWR was customer wheat rolls... Baaaahahahahahaha...

i think BTT means by the ton

That's ok. There's a user here who's name is HPMBTT. I thought it meant Hoard Paper Money By The Ton. Later realized it was precious metals. Oh well.

Bump to Top. BTT simply adds a posting to a forum thread to show activity, thereby moving it to the top of the list of threads in that forum.
For instance, if a discussion thread has been inactive for a week, it can get moved down in the list or onto subsequent pages. Any activity in the thread will move it back to the top of the list.

Posters may just want to do that and will post a BTT.

TTT is also used. It means To The Top.

Never hurts to ask. I get text messages that are so abbreviated that I think I am receiving war codes. I had to enter some into an enigma decoder to figure out what they meant.

Around here BTT more commonly means "by the ton." Thread bumping really isn't encouraged...

That is my personal favorite! :mrgreen:

I have been known to remove "bumps" from threads.

CWR - Customer Wrapped Roll
BWR - Bank Wrapped Roll
RYPOOAC - Rolling your pennies out on a cart :mrgreen:

A few more:
LCS= local coin shop
SHTF= poopoo hits the fan
CTU= copper trade unit= 68 lbs copper cents= $100 face
I'm sure there's plenty more but none are coming to me at this time.
