I separate them and roll them by composition. I like my rolls to be as pure as possible. One day the Canadians may command a higher premium due to the Canadian government melting them down for metal recovery.

some people in the u.s. pay a bit more for them because the u.s. melt ban does not apply to them.

I don't get that many Canadians, so I just throw them all in a jar- mostly for the novelty of it. When the jar fills up, I might sort them and pull out the copper.

How much would a US metal refiner pay for Canadian pennies?
buying wheat pennies at $0.03 delivered - send me a note if you are selling

I separate my canadians but I'll prrobably be sending them back to the bank, I dont get nearly enough to make it worthwhile.
