1st Mariner bank is running a deal if you open a checking account with $200 you get $150. You only have to make one direct deposit every 90 days and you can close after 90 days. The only pain is the direct deposit; I assume that would have to come from getting paid at work?

yes, but typically your employer has a form that will allow multiple direct deposits. i have $1 deposited into a couple of accounts and then the remainder into my main account. see if you can do that.
