It's all about perception, and when you want the rolls opened in 1 second vs. 5 seconds then 5 seconds seems like a long time.

Average 60K here- no fatigue.
Also search nickels, dimes & halves - work 50 - 60 hours a week and get at least 8 hours of sleep and have time to do chores, hunt, fish and garden.
Still feel a little guilty for being so lazy.

I do the nickels, dimes, quarters, and halves also.. plus work 60 plus hours per week and have a 50 mile commute to work. I peaked at 100 boxes (250,000 coins) per week with no neck or eye strain.. but maybe a little back strain and some sore thumbs. Had to back off that pace a bit because of the challenge of zinc disposal when you play at that level and to devote more time to the day job. I also go to several coin clubs during the month. I haven't mastered that 8 hours of sleep thing yet. I try not to feel guilty about being so lazy. Maybe if I ramp back up I can assauge those feelings of guilt.

Imagine how many pennies I could sort if I didn't spend so much time posting here.

Kids gone! Married to a very tolerant wifey who enjoys idol and dancing with the stars while I sip a few buds, smoke a cigar and watch the history channel in the garage..
I envy you keeping up with a 2yr old and a career!

I hand sort 2 or 3 boxes a week. This week I picked up another $500 in boxes/CWRs to add to a growing pile of "to be sorted" pennies. I have plenty to sort but not much time to do it.

I think the proper term is "manic" lol

We (my wife and I) are doing about 2 boxes a week, but should be bumping that up to 14 or 15. If we can do more, there are 3 other banks in town, but we all know what thats like.

I'm doing around 4 boxes a week right now. I have done more. I keep all I find and I don't sell 'em. I take the time to inspect and roll mine and then put them in sealed $25 boxes. There's something special about giving the little critters some special attention.

i feel like that part of charlie and the chocolate factory when the teachers asks him how many wonka bars did you buy and he says 2, but i sort about 20 rolls per week.

I sort $150-200 per week. Over a year, that certainly adds up.

I'll try to hand sort 4-10 boxes per month. So I'll average a box or 2 a week.
