If a bank was willing to supply a you with bags (say up to $1000 fv a week) would you be willing to pay $2-$3 per bag extra? Assume a 25% Cu return.
Ferengi rule of acquisition #162: Even in the worst of times someone turns a profit.

That is a $1 per box extra fee. Are you willing to pay an extra $1 per box to not have to crack rolls?

That comes out to $116 invested in every $100 copper.

My 19 bags equals 38 boxes. If I had to bust open 1900 rolls each week I wouldn't be sorting copper. Maybe I am just lazy. So I am lucky to be able to get bags. Just cut the top off the bag, pour and sort. :D

SOmething tells me you would still be sorting for copper even if you had to break the wrappers open :D

I prefer the paper rolls vs bags. A quick 3/8" slit, crack the roll in half...two neat raw stacks to sort. When given the choice between bags and boxes I get the boxes.

Are you high or something, hehe? I bet you are probably the only one who can get bags but doesn't. Wow....

To be honest, I usually take them both. But if cash strapped, I'll take 2 boxes vs 1 bag.

I might be high, but seems to me the cu yield is slightly higher. For sure the wheat & canada yield is better.

Whatever floats you boat, hehe. Exact opposite from me. Bags average 30% or so while boxes run about 20%. Way more goodies in the bags as well. Heck, I don't even open the boxes I get anymore. Put them away for later....

Ummm more like vinyl to digital :P

And there's nothing wrong with boxes. I'd also like to add that boxes allow you to avoid the zinc returns. Though this may not really apply to people ordering bags. I picked up $50 cwr's half were all zinc...
