Be patient. I went for a long while before my first tribesman appeared. I would guess that I had accumulated about $600-$700 face before he showed up. He now has two others to keep him company! Eventually you'll be rewarded.

I found two in one box the other day. They come in spells.

Well, there you go. I always thought they came in boxes of pennies. No wonder I haven't found any. I got to find me some boxes of spells.

I found one in the oddest place. Y'see, I return my zincs in little black buckets...two buckets per dump (about $100). At the bank I toss the rejects into the buckets to bring them home where they go into the Irretrievably Ugly Abes & Miscellaneous bin. Apparently I forgot to empty the buckets one day, so when I needed to refill one with zincs I noticed a skanky green penny in the bottom. It was difficult to recognize, but on close inspection it turned out to be an Indian Head! The little booger had survived the Ryedale and the bank's sorter!

I've sorted about $150 per week since the beginning of the year and I found my third Indian today, 1890. Also, the past two weeks I've found my first 3 1943 steel cents.

Just had an 1885 pop out doing my second sort of the copper, you just have to love it when a new member joins the tribe.
