But when its all said and done, I would have keen interest in a copper nest with silver eggs!! How cool is that?!?!?!?!?

All i really needed was a roundabout to guesstimate what size I "could" cast with current setup. It's not like you can just throw a pound of PMs on the stove and have a go at it.

I bought the material for the mold tonight. I am currently looking for a model of the right approximate size,and have an idea next time I'm in town. I might actually give this a shot. I could roll some .999 square silver wire to entertwine with the round copper in the nest...

Right on Kurr. The art of actually casting such a piece is well beyond me. I can only hope I was helpful.

This is actually a pretty awesome idea. As mentioned, totally marketable. Could just throw up a simple site, charge spot + a good healthy amount for your time/materials. If it took off you could undoubtedly find more efficient ways, drop the premium and sell all the more. If you started off just charging whatever you needed to to make it worth it though, I bet you'd still do pretty well just because of the novelty of it.
