MS early wheaties I mean. Yes I found this in a roll. Those of you who are members on the CCF, yes, I am penny man there.

Is that a DDR, plus a cud on the obverse? Nice! I could use a find like that to vindicate my sorting hobby to my wife!

that is not a DDR, just DIe Deteioration Doubling. The 1925 Ds had very overused dies and very weak strikes usually, and this is far above average. Sometimes you can't even see the date on an MS coin.

Wow...the only ones from the '20s and earlier I've been able to find (very few) have all been Good. Not even a Fine before the 1930s. Congratulations.
I did it. I've been crazy enough to sort through 10,000 rolls of pennies. Almost makes you think, "some people will do anything to build up a coin collection."

are you a hand sorter? or did you happen to pick it out while sorting with a rydale? these cool finds are the only reason i have not bought a rydale.

coin community forum. I wouldn't want anyone to think that penny man of CCF or CoinHuntingObsession of realcent is lying and poaching the other's finds, as I posted this over there too.

yes I am a hand sorter and will probably never have a ryedale, as I am mainly a wheat sorter and just do copper on the side for extra profit.
