The photo does not look like sold zinc. Look like some copper. Do all the ends match same year?

Clearly they aren't, but they sure are zinc heavy. Probably to the tune of 90%.

That's what I was hoping too, but even some of the darker ones were zinc. There were only 3 to 5 coppers per roll.

That was just for fun. As the 1931-S is the third hardest to find Lincoln cent. And the 1936 Dot is a $400 K Canadian cent. http://www.coinlink.com/News/world-coins/canadian-dot-cent-rarity-to-be-sold-by-heritage-in-world-coin-auction/. So just pointing out sometimes in the trash you can find gold.

My only indian head (1903) came from a box that was almost entirely brand new pennies. You can only make lemonade if you take the time to squeeze the lemons... ;)

90% ? I say much more than that. Circulated boxes in my neck of the woods run 85%- 88% zinc.

The final count was 211 coppers, 6 wheat, and 2 copper Canadian, so 91.24% zinc.

Been having a rough time getting anything but new cents from my banks lately, too. Two pickups yesterday, and all new shiny pennies.

I got a box of Nickels a while back that was like this (had 2-3 nickels per roll that weren't 2011). Ended up getting 2 war nickels from it.

Here's to hoping you'll be pleasantly surprised like I was, and you've got a Native American floating around in those scant pickings.
