Found a buyer

Postby battlecat » Tue Nov 15, 2011 9:44 am

Got a guy in my area paying 1.6
My plan is to hand sort until I can make enough off of it to get a Ryedale, Then from there
I need to find a steady supply of boxes. I have no problems with dumping as of right now

Local guy buying for 1.6x. That is good. If he is going to be buying large amounts, try to get the Ryedale now and let the profits from the 1st several $100 face pay for the Ryedale.

I second that idea
"The study of money, above all other fields in economics, is one in which complexity is used to disguise truth or to evade truth, not to reveal it. The process by which banks create money is so simple the mind is repelled. With something so important, a deeper mystery seems only decent." John Kenneth Galbraith 1975

He can still sort through the coppers. He will just have 25% less to look at.

I second this. Get the Ryedale, you will end up sorting more pennies and finding more wheats. You might miss some, but net net you will end up ahead.

My Ryedale has found two 1909 VDB this year already. Zinc/copper/handsort "double rejects" does it every time for me.
