I hope it got scrapped for good. Stories like this lead to people with big bucks paying Brinks & and Coinstar to sort $5 million of copper pennies for them, cutting out us hobby guys. OH Wait !

following this for awhile...OF COURSE the government has no sway with the media, but if they did, do ya think they would want the word to know our new "currency" is worthless compared to our older currency? and even our citizens are hoarding?
