weighted sterling cream and sugar question

anyone know how much weight is in a typical weighted cream and sugar set? Thx..

I crushed them and if there anything like the common plain creamers I would say 50-60 grams each if not more.

Better the manufacturer the more silver you get (Gorham, International, Tiffany), fancy patterns is a plus, and the bigger they are the harder they fall (cause the weight more!)

If they aint fancy, have a well known manufacturer, or are damaged n anyway their likely just worth scrap then anything else. They made a buttload of these things.

This is the first place I go to when I have a question about a piece of hollow-ware. It is very helpful in identifying a maker.

If it is Sterling or coin silver AND has a good pattern to it.... It is worth more as a set than the silver melt content. IF it is really beat up or has a cheap blah pattern... tear those babies open and get the weights out. Weigh the silver and sell it to someone like Market Harmony or Rodebaugh.
