Well when it rains, it pours. 2 nights ago I snagged a very nice 1901, Then last night I uncovered a 1902 that looks almost exactly like ecotics 1895 above. Same poorly drilled hole in it. Bingo book already has a 1902 so I was not too upset about the hole.

Went ahead and took the plunge on a used Ryedale so I picked up a box today so we could give it a test run. Dad grabbed the second roll out of the box and was like "what's this on the end?" First one we ever found.

Pretty nice 1905!

What's even funnier is he thought he had found a second one but one of my boys had picked it up of the table and threw it back into the hopper. Guess the old man has pretty good eyes since he found it in the reject bin when it went threw. :o

This was a long time coming. I didn't find any indians last year at all.

Sorted a bag last night. There were about 500 wheats in it. I looked at the zincs and there were a few wheats in there as well. I figured I would give them all a quick look. The first handful of zincs produced a nice 1905. The second handful produced a nice 1933 canadian.

Now I have to find another 1909. It has been over three years!!!

Found my first IHC today... 1905. That hand rolled box also had a few wheats and the copper percentage was 50% or more on a lot of the rolls.

I got two more Indian Heads to add to my current 6. I found one two Saturdays ago combing through a batch of reject zincs that were from bank wrapped rolls at a local independent bank. They wrap the coin they get off their counter and dispense to customers. It is the one that looks like it was dug up. The other one came from a Brinks roll from a tellers tray this week. She could not spare more than $10. I found it tonight being rejected on a first pass zinc accept.

1884 or 1881 Perhaps better to call it 188x

I found my second Indiand of the year yesterday. It is a 1906. It has a full liberty on the head band. It has some corrision on it. I think it will come off.

It was in a bag of zincs that I was dumping into the counter at the bank.

Edit. I forgot to mention that I dumped 87.07 in zincs. The teller gave me back two copper canadian pennies and a 1972 canadian nickel. She apologized for the canadians. I told her I liked them. The two tellers dug up a full CWR of copper canadian cents, and 1974 and 1955 nickels.

I found my first Indian Head cent tonight while sorting rolls of pennies. I just started sorting boxes a week or two ago, and I was five dollars into my second box when I found a 1904 cent next to a wheat penny. I was pretty excited, so I thought I would share.
