Yep, my very first silver dime found in a box of pennies today. A 1947....Dang I had to modify my Indian Head dance...to a silver Roo jig...WooHoo!

Congrats. I've never found a silver roo or a merc in my lincolns, but I did find some foreign silver form 1829 in my lincolns once.

Dimes mixed into the penny bag is always a nice find. I have found hundreds of dimes over the years,but no silver yet.

Well now...found my second silver Roo in my lincolns...1960 WooHoo...couldn't do my silver in my copper dance due to recovery from back surgery so its on hold for another month or three.

I believe my only silver in cents was a British sixpence. Already had it in my British collection, but you better believe I put it in a 2x2 and marked it as found in a cent bag, including the date.
