Picked up two $50 bags from my local bank, sorted one so far.

of 5000 pennies:

1690 Clean Copper (33.8%)
18 Wheat
14 Canadian Cu
1 Bahamas one cent coin
1 Connecticut Counter stamped penny

My copper percentages from my local bank are shooting up, but my number of wheats per bag is falling considerably, especially pre-1940. I also throw out "ugly abes", It is easier for me just to throw them back in the wild and use the money for more chances at clean coppers. Even if they only have a tiny bit of green stuff on them they go to the dump pile.

I'm almost to my original goal of filling a 5-gallon bucket!

That's what I do. I also throw the coppers with a dark ugly patina in too. I'll rub the slightly green ones to see if it comes clean, otherwise it goes into the Ugly Abe box. :)

The 2007 Canadian is not copper; so it will not count in your Canadian stats in this thread.
