No not a scam. A guy at work has these "super scissors" that he claimed could cut a penny in half. I made a $10 bet that he couldn't cut a penny I brought him if he gave me a day to get it from home. He agreed and the next day I gave him a 43 steel to chop up. He was able to get about 1/8th of an inch into it and then it just stopped. The scissors held up but he didn't have the leverage to chop the steel. $10 for me!
