LDS Cannery

Do many of you know much about LDS Church cannery's in your area by any chance?

You can stock up on super cheap items, in bulk, which are great for any food storage!

Cool thing is that everyone is allowed to shop at the canery, as it's no longer limited to just church members. Being a church member, I just found this out a few weeks ago. If you're interested in knowing more, I'll send you a link via PM.

I've heard that LDS lets non members shop there. The nearest cannery to me is 100 miles away, and my business hasn't taken me in that direction in some time (the Dallas metroplex). I've planned on checking it out whenever I get the chance, but I hope to avoid that area like the plague until well after Christmas!.
Thanks for the reminder.

The LDS cannery have gotten pretty good reviews here before.
Here are a couple of links to old topics on them.
Or, of course, you can do a search on here for LDS cannery to see all topics
I was vey impressed with the price and friendliness, when I went there.

I recently bought 53 #10 cans of beans, rice, potatoe flakes etc for $220 from the one in Portland, my youngest kid canned them up for me while he was buying some stuff for himself.
