Copper Advisory...don't drink the water

Postby Morsecode » Sat Jan 07, 2012 11:48 pm

Amston reservoir, which serves east-central CT, has put out an advisory to customers to avoid drinking, cooking, and even bathing with the local water until they can figure out where the high levels of copper are coming from. Some tests indicate the cu levels at 5 times the acceptable level.

I don't have anything clever to add. Just passing along the news of the weird.

Maybe the reservoir has a few dumped cars in the drink.
